Buuuu-lan Madu di atas pelangi....Hanya Kita Berduaaaa!!

Babbling Bride 101: Fantasia Bulan Madu by Amy Search is still truly my all time favourite songs cause it just beats the crap out of everybody whenever I sang it...because I literally annoyed everyone by singing the "Buuuuuuuu" part longer than needed and that truly irritates my Godma because she always thought that Im just shouting for her. Works every single time. *smiles*

Anyhooo...Good Day to all of you BTB[s] out there. As mentioned in the previous post, Me and Beau have decided on our honeymoon destination. Yayyyyy-ness!!! Initially, I keep on saying to Besties that honeymoon is not on my priority list because I dont see the importance part of it and I seriously am cluess when I heard some people spent $14k on a bloody Europe honeymoon tour for 10 days...what the ****???? That is either you are one bloody empress dowager's bloodline or you just burst your credit limit boy!!! Good luck to you as long as korang balek tak pakai sampan or tongkang aye??

So, back to the topic. I keep re-iterating my logic to my Besties that I don't mind even if just get to honeymoon in Sentosa or wherever as long as I can spend time with Beau. Because, the initial phase was to get your mind so busy on caterers.decor.MUA etc etc etc and honeymoon was the least of my problem. But after securing the vendors and important people that we had wanted, my mind started thinking that honeymoon is important jugak la kan because after a bloody two years preparation.anxiety attacks and that two days where you have to keep on smiling like the wax people at Madame Tussauds, you need to get a break boy!!!!

And so initially, we discussed where we had wanted to go. Being a Beach-y...hahahhaha...kind of a couple, we wanted someplace relax by the ocean...have our own private pool especially...maybe a nice private beach...you know the whole "Twilight Saga" honeymoon edition...we thought of going to Maldives!!! Everything was just perfect, we've got the Beach the Villa..the whole shebangs BUT......

There is one thing or few things that has been jabbing my side of thoughts....The villa is a Water Villa which is situated on top of the water...like duhhh!! And it's made of woods....and we are talking about south china open sea and such.....hmmmm. My mind was mapping out sharks...tsunami cos its still january...the sun still declares holiday most of the days till may or june...Im just scared of all the possibilities. Beau was like confused on my logic as usual. He doesnt understand where the heck does this ideas comes from so I remind him about the story of the 3 little pigs and he was like ohhhhhhhhh...den I was like yaaahhhh!!! What if a strong wind just blow the wood house down?!!!! Right?!!! Right?!!!

I know...I know I am being silly but you can never be too confident right?! So, for me I always go for the gut feeling..if it's a 50/50 den No Deal people. No Deal.

So,alternatively since we have decided to not stay the Banyan Tree @ Maldives. Beau decided to made us stay at the initial my LOVE @ FIRST SIGHT VILLA at
BANYAN TREE BALI, UNGASAN yo!!!!!!!!!! How mother father Gentleman is that?!!!!!!!!

*jumps jumps

*im twirllllliiinggggg mom!!! im twirrrrrlllling!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!*

Truly, I didnt expect. Because initially, he had spot this private villa in Seminyak which consist of 3 levels. Super huge which then I questioned him...why do we need such a big place...u nak main sembunyi2 or kejar2 is it?? And he said because It has it's own private pool in the basement and all so I thought okaylaaaa...den he ask the magic question or do you want Banyan Tree Bali at Ungasan...den I was like...*blink blink blink and i said HEELLLLLLL YESSS!!!!!!

No doubt that the price we are paying is like 900+USD per night because they have different versions  whether you want the garden view..sea view..ocean view...blahhh blahhhh blahhh..who cares?? All I know that anything that is labeled with Banyan Tree Brand is superb. I know it because my friend was the Interior designer for the Banyan Tree at Phuket....and it's truly to be drooled for laaaa...

So, Beau whip out his magic card and we secured our flights and resort and land transfers suma laaaa....Suka-nyerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! Overall, spent per person..nope dont ask. It's much of a heartache for me to look at the figures and basically I love being oblivious and ignorant so that I wont feel guilty as hell. Hahahahhahha!!!

It was actually a close shave between Banyan Tree and Club Med. It was a neck to neck competition but being Club Med, I do know that privacy is No.1 top on their list and as usual, those who chose clubmed basically stays in clubmed most of the time with all the fun activities they had. But since, this is our virgin trip to Bali, Beau and me decided we want to explore the cultural aspects of it and basically do lots of shopping.heheheheh and also because in June we are going to Club Med Cherating laaa so we would want a different atmostphere for now.

So here are some pictures from the Banyan Tree Management. I cant Wait!!!!!!!!! I am so looking forward to this!!!

A view of the front of the Villa. Basically, each villa comes with its own Private pool, Jacuzzi, Pool deck Lounge Area and your own private gazebo!!

And this is where the magic happens people, as you wake up, you will be listening to the sounds of the ocean and a view of the magnificent South India Sea and your own private pool at the tip of your feet.

Kirakan, kalau malas nak pergi bathroom, kau slide jer tu glass door and Ge-de-booossh!!! into the water!! How faboosh is that yo?!!!!

I also want to put bunga on the ear like that lah!!!!! Look so demure...heeee.

The Bathroom.

I dont know how or what or why BUT I think that I may spend our honeymoon being all sparkly and sweet scented smelling segala cos there are just too many awesome faboosh places to bath that I just wanna used them all. Not to mention, there is an outdoor shower jugak ehhhh....

Aiyoooo, Banyan Tree why why whyyyy you do this to me??? I will just spend most of my time in Bali showering ajer tau tak?? If I dont shower at all these areas, feel so rugi tau!!!
*typical makcik mode on

Anyhoo, credits to the  awesome fantabullous pictures goes to the management at
Banyan Tree Bali, Ungasan. I just look out for them in Google.

Haiiiishhhh...Banyan Tree, Bali. I shall see you in 3 months time hokay? Dont notty notty tiba tiba nak renovation segala kapa ehhh...aku da book kau pon siang2. xoxo

Till then,

Loved.

When "Kiasu Bride" + "Confused" Groom = Wiping out H&M stocks!!

Hello Hello!!!!! How are you guys?!! Well, basically I am just taking the opportunities to write as many posts as I could while I am free just because I will be superbly pack during the weekend. So , just bear with me alright? And it's you who came to the blog and read about my everlasting nonsensical babbles tauuu....heheheheheh

Anyhoo, last weekend Me and Beau had an awfully awesome time travelling around the town area with shopping bags and whatnots macam the movie "Pretty Woman" but basically Beau was the one la carrying all the bags cos he is the Macho macho one....and basically I have smaller hands and fingers and wrists so I carry smaller things like my own handbag ajer la aye??

So, we start off with a nice Brunch at our local favourite stall at Cuppage. Ate some soup and fried rice and a cup of lemon tea and have a nice walk soaking our skin in the sun while walking towards the H&M store...ahhhh *bliss

The men have done their shopping last week to decide what type of theme and attire they wanted and so far this are the "Hot" looks they would be trying to achieve:

Let me tell you, they Groomsman are more happening than us girls okay?!!Suma excited to the moon nyer...Best kan kalau ada orang orang yang happening camnie!!!

So, after the whole saga of trying on their "pebret" outfit last week, me and Beau went to Somerset H&M to pick out their attires. Initially, we went to Marina Square on the previous weekends but the "Wanted[s]" were all out of stock.

And, after we reach H&M, Men's department at the Third Level, Me with super soaker eagle eyes immediately pounced on the rack on the "Wanted" shirts. I used my skills of "Kiasu-ism" to quickly grab the sizes. Even Beau's jaw dropped...practically to the floor and he was like..."Waaaahh!! U really dont give chance ah??!!" cos there was another guy who were looking at the same shirt and I just immediately grab all of them...Better be Kiasu rather than have to walk to another store and hurt my feet....heh heh heh!!!!

And so, we grabbed all the needed ones like suspenders and stuff and few customers were actually asking about the shirt and sorry dudes...this kiasu couple have absolutely cleared out all the stocks man!!!

And, I am so looking forward to this Saturday because we are meeting the "Brothers" to give out their attires and and and we are BOOKING OUR HONEYMOON!!!!!!! Beau has finally decided to give in and go to my all-time dream destination...well basically Dream resort more like it...stay tuned!!! Look out for it in the next post prettay ladies!!!

Till then,

Loved.

The "Ranggi" Angels

Ola Ladies, so since I have extra time to spout some nonsense for today, let's start off with the story of the Bridesmaids.

Yayyyy!!!!

When being asked, what does a bridesmaid do by one of our cousins...my reply was errr....sit prettily. pose. smile.have fun.eat.be merry.laugh.laugh.laugh.keep on reminding me that it's gonna be okay when needed and most of all catch me if you have the sense that I'm going to run away few minutes before the wedding.

Yep,  and that people is basically my own definition of a bridesmaid. So, last Friday me and Ms.Snooki went to Haji Lane area to actually pick up the Duchess satin for the girls and  they have finally chosen an AWESOMELY LOVELY colour!!!! I LIKE!!!

TA-DAAAA!!!!
Blush Pink and a Dash of Mint Green
*drooolzzzz

Eh korang...sapa nak kahwin ni ah?? Colour baju jer da lawa macam nak mampz... hahahahahha!!!!
So, after the whole "Tawar Menawar" saga deal we made with the Towkay at the textile shop, me and Ms. snooki finally made our way home with me lugging the bag of cloth from east to the north area. Boleh hilang 10 kilo la nyah!!!

And to one-up the whole deal, I have finally made the Bridesmaid Invitation card and printed it and thanks to the always efficient Lingimage printing company opp the National Library, I have finally whip out these babies!!!!

Hahhhkk!!! Amek kau!! Pukul 12 nak jalan raya...bangun dengan kepala menoneng I wrap this beauties up to be given to the girls. It's so pretttty kan!!! You better say it's pretty!!! Hahahah...memaksa la pulak.

Anyhoo, if you're thinking why are there like a variations of colour. First off, the white one is for my sister-in-law. The whole family decides to wear white very suci murni that kind of look la. And the rest are actually of the same colour but due to the lighting, it has different shades. This are the first batch of  cloths for the girls mainly because there are 10 of them and my bloody lens cant fit everything in.

Initially, we wanted to go ahead with pale blush pink but after much though, I have decided to call the shots that a dash of Coral colour with a mint green palette will probably suit our Asian skin better or else it could look dull.

Both Me and Beau, present it to the girls and they are Whoooping with excitement!!! We did take some mugshots of them but otherwise, they said they are not in their glamorous form so we shall take another shot and I will again update this post!!!

I am only left with preparing the Bridesmaid Survival Kit and that will be another surprise for them and most probably I will be presenting to them during the Hen party. I was also thinking of combining the Bachelor + Bachelorette party because most of our Groomsman + Bridesmaid are our cousins, old time family buddies and everyone knows each other...but basically, it is the stabbing ideas of whether the Groomsman will be bringing a stripper if they have their own Bachelor's Party...Hahahahahha....combining both parties because we are all one big happy family is just an excuse aye!! ahahhahaha...

...well Helllo!!! This is me people!! My mind tends to one up others as usual before things happen macam Psychic gitu!!!!*evil grin

Till then,

Loved.

An Epic Announcement.

Ola Ladies!!! Just wanna check...How long or early does it take usually for the Bride + Groom to send out their wedding invitations aye? 1 month...2 months...hmmmm. These are some of the a million plus things that seems simple yet confusing as always. Already Beau is panicking yesterday that we need to meet up and also confirm on many other thousand things and I guess looking at me being one laid back bergedil leaves him speechless.

Actually, I know there are a million stuffs to be done BUT I just do not know where to begin..Being the last minute person that I always am, Im in best performance when working under pressure so let's take a break for now and think about the problems tomorrow morrow aye? Hahahha...

Anyhooo, on the topic for today I was thinking of a thousand creative ideas for our Dinner Invitations. Was thinking of the easy way out and thought of just printing the normal invitation cards. But being me, who loves to trouble everyone else to crack their minds on my conceptualization and ideas, I was thinking we could actually do something out of the ordinary. It's always the sad case for me right, always wanting to go the extra mile and that troubling others is my cup of tea. Hahhahaha..*evil grin*

What has made me conclude to this logic was that, I could print a beee-youuu-tiii--full gorgeous card and in the end what happens?? People just throw it away...just like that!!!! So, I would want invitations that people could keep and use it for more practical purposes.

I am a person who is just bloody anal about music. I LOVE LOVE MUSIC!!! There is nothing that could describes me that is not associated with music although one asshole from the office says I was squeaking when in actual fact, I was singing...go to hell with him lah!!! Me and music are like the ocean and the sand...the skies to the clouds...the moon with the stars!!!

So, I actually googled on the most  perfect invitations which incorporates musical elements and these are some of the cool stuffs that I have came across:

I Like!! I Like!!! I Like!!!! Sungguh cantek and menawan...I suka and to top it off, we'll be adding our favourite music inside the CD so our guests can pop it in the cd player and listen to it!! or more like they have a bloody good reason not to throw it away laaa or it can backfire when their ears bled while listening to our favourite songs...hmmmm...

Well, this is just something I might do but as usual Beau has always the best contacts in town for everything...soooooo..we have decided to engage our own in-house Creative Designer cum Groomsman who is just so oh-TALENTED to help us design the cards and I know it's gonna be more superbly awesome than what we could have actually Google-ed.

He is definitely *cough cough..uh-humm a Senior Designer currently from one of the famous Arts Organization in Singapore cos' being us we just wont settle for anything lesser aye?...Hahahha...Ngada-ngada pulak laaaa pompuan ni...
Anyhoo...We'll pose a mugshot of this awesome possum buddy of ours during our meet up soon and you BTB[s] out there could also contact him and let him settle the kettle your Wedding Invitations okay? Seeee...I care and I only share the awesome stuffs!! *flips hair!

Till then,

Loved.

At the stroke of Midnight.

Ola Ladies!!! Hope it's not too late to wish you people Selamat Hari Raya and Maaf Zahir Batin to all. Biaselah, kalau akak terkasar bahasa kah..ter-laser mulut kah...hahahahha. Marilah kita sama sama buka lembaran yg baru. Ceyyy-wahhhh!

Apologies for the "biskot chipsmore" moments because its Hari Raya Ladies. There are endless people and houses and lontongs that we must crash into. Now Im Baccccckkk!!!!

Anyhoo, the title itself for today might knock you off the feet sekejap. Nope! I didnt see a jembalang at the stroke of midnight BUT Beau and Me have SUCCESSFULLY book our application for solemnization ceremony and our preferred Tok Kadi!! Yay-ness laaa! Beau finally got his dream Tok Kadi gitu. Heeheehee.....So, as mentioned in my previous post our or evidently HIS preferred Tok Kadi is Kadi Sallim Jasman.

So, as Kiasu as I am both me and Beau were still not asleep and at the stroke of midnight both of us were still on the phone bergantung discussing the details. Two important facts that I learn from this, PLEASE MAKE SURE....you guys have the important I/C details of those needed to be your Wali + Saksi. You know what happened to us??? Pukul 12 Malam tu jugaklaaaa...kita call Beau's uncle to ask for his I/C no...*slaps forehead. Naseb laaa member tu one cool and easy breezy berg.

And then, its settled after about 25 minutes. So, 5 weeks before the solemnization date the Bride + Groom + Wali need to go ROMM for the so-called interview. And that people, will be another post okay?? Hahahah.....

Immediately after Beau said everything is confirmed and paid for, I sent him a crying face emoji and he returned a pissed off face emoji back at me with a caption WHY??? So, I told him, I'm Finally getting married!!! Cry of happiness la...and the mamat was just too tired to even entertain my nonsense anymore. pfffttt!!!!

Yes, people!! I am getting married!!! Cannot U-turn already no matter how freezing cold this feet can be at times. It's only 4 months left and the anxiety is killing me plus the money spend too.

Till then,

Eenie.Meeney.Miney.Mo. Who's gonna be my Tok Kadi yo?!!

Ola Awesome Ladies!!! How's everything under the sun in Singapore??!

Anyhoo, it's exactly 14 more days before we can book our Tok Kadi yo!!!! Yayy-ness!! And obviously, Me plus Beau still do not know what to do!!! Hahahahha!!! Somehow or rather getting advice from the Kakak-Kakak kahwin network gang of mine, the booking of Tok Kadi is indeed a ruthless process. Grooms have to be ultimately Kiasu on this topic.

As what my Bestie said, "Kau jangan tunggu lama-lama tauu!! Exactly, 150 days before your wedding kau nak kena kira lepas tu at the stroke of midninght kau log in kat ROMM Website and book your preferred Tok Kadi." What is this man?? Nak main cerita Cinderella kaper? Abeh kalau tak book at midnight, Tok Kadi aku jadi pumpkin segala eh?

Fuhyooo..tak tahu pulak akak nak kena kiasu cos certain Tok Kadi[s] are considered hot stuff!! Hahahahha. Anyways, for those of you are still wondering on how I know when is the specific time to book your Marriage Registration slot, fret not. Tak payah pecah otak, pecah calculator segala eh pasal nak countdown the days.

ROMM has indeed created an efficient Wedding Date calculator link.Yayy!! So, for those Brides who are like me who left their brains at work after 5, here is what you can do. Click on this Link ajer yer tuan tuan puan puan ---> ROMM Wedding Calendar

So Poof!! It will then turn out like the picture below:
So, basically what you need to do is just click on your preferred dates to be solemnized and the calendar will automatically show you when is the earliest date that you can register for your wedding.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy kan??? Itu lah..akak da cakap senang korang taknak percaya.

So anyways, after you have successfully registered your online application, you will be called for an interview. That will be covered in another post I guess cos Bestie and the other kakak kakak kahwin is trying to scare me segala saying that the interview will be super damn scary cos you need to go in alone. So, my strategy are in place such that pakai baju macam wanita melayu terakhir dan berdoa la banyak banyak yer. Kalau itu interviewer kasi aku fail, I hentak hentak my kaki suma kat ROMM! hahahahah

Anyhoo, back to the topic of selection of our Kadi, Me and Beau have few people in mind. Basically, he wanted Kadi Salim Jasman to marry us off since he has been marrying Beau's pakcik makcik kakak abang sedara suma segala and he so-called want to continue the family tradition plus from the way he say it...Brides has their wedding dream dress tapi bakal suami aku obviously has his Wedding Dream Tok Kadi. Sighhh...cos he mentioned that every nikah he attended Kadi Salim Jasman was there and member is one cool and funny berg.

So whatever la kan, whatever rocks your sampan boy. I let him decide and of course we are still in discussion with our parents about the selection of Kadi and such and who to pick finally and the alternatives should the first choice is not available. For my take and on some logic I could think of, I believed that probably having the younger Tok Kadi generation is more safer cos like what my Bestie say, orang muda tak banyak spelling. So, kita tengok siapa yang kenaaaa!!!!! Jangan sampai nanti Beau jadi bergedil kena lenyek ngan all sorts of questions sudah...hahahhahahah

Speaking of which Kadi to select, me and Papa has this conversation as In Shaa Allah he will be the one responsible to marry me off, the Kadi is just there to guide the whole ceremony. Papa ask me for pictures of the many Tok Kadi and I was like mana ader sey?!! And he insisted, "Ader laaaa, dulu Papa nak register dorang suma tunjuk muka Tok-Tok  Kadi kat frame den kita pick ah mana muka yang okay, yang tak garang, muka friendly, agak agak ahh kita tikam tikam!"

And I was like, "WHAT???? You play tikam tikam on your selection of Tok Kadi and here I am reading blogs reviews and whatnots when selecting one of the most important official for our wedding. Papa ingat aper? choose maid kaper, tengok muka okay then trus select!" And my conclusion to this whole agenda is, some people just have it easy and for me, of course I am just super anal about everything. Hahahahhahah...

To finish off, this whole Tok Kadi saga discussion between our family members does trigger some flashbacks memory and definitely funny ones and I just cant accept the fact, back then people use to play tikam tikam when selecting the most important man for your wedding. It's either you are one cool confident berg or unfairly you are always having that lucky tangkal selit somewhere.

Till then,
Loved.

Play that Beat DJ!!!

Ola awesome possum ones!!!

So, I decided since I have just finished judging for our school annual's event and also because it's raining meows and woofs outside...why not add in another post for today aye??!

So....let's talk about Wedding songs. Songs are very important I must say..for me especially. Being brought up and surrounded by musically talented people and legends has definitely made me anal about the songs Im choosing for our Big Day!!

And therefore, the tink a tink continues for songs that will accompany me during walking the aisle on.....[be prepared, it's ridiculous but that's just me] our solemnization day.during the batal air sembahyang part during nikah. after finishing the whole akad nikah ceremony. the tepong tawar masin segala ke aper nyer ceremony

and then.............

followed by our entrance during dinner.our cutting cake ceremony.and of course the song that I wanted to sing for him. And songs that I wanted to be played during dinner that fits the theme.

and then........

on Sunday. the bride entrance.and the couple entrance at the groom's side.cutting cake ceremony.

Oh well, let's start with our solemnization ceremony, I was thinking of playing this while peopple are displaying our trays or whatnots, the entrance of both parents and maybe the groom

Cahaya Selawat Nabi by Raihan

I had always adore this songs and I always hear it in times when I just needed to calm down and I think it will just be an appropriate opening to a blissful ceremony.

Next.....Bride's Entrance

 Ayu by V.E

One thing that attracts me in this song are definitely the lyrics itself and how it portrays a girl wearing white and overall I like the calming effect of this whole shite!!

Next...Sarung cincin and Batal air sembahyang part...

For the rest of my life by Maher Zain

Beau has been singing this song over and over again. Aku tak tahu angin sasau mana da rasuk but yes, he really insisted on using this song for our wedding only as usual, he doesnt know where to fit it and Little Miss Conceptualize ME! have to crack my brains again. Although I might be busy crying my eyes out and dunno whether can hear this song or not but yes...we stick with the plans for now.

Next...after the whole akad nikah ceremony plus the tepong tawar part plus taking pictures..

BarakAllah by Maher Zain

This song ehhh...orang orang tua kalau cakap kirakan panggil lagu wajib ah...lagu orang kawing kawing so Beau and Me really like this song and of cos I dont give a dang if makciks pakciks nenek datuk all heard this song a gazillion times already or even sing their heart out with it..
I am STILL GONNA DO IT.

Next is the dinner entrance....

As we enter, I have always wanted people to do this!!!! I kept on saying to Bestie I want people to play mercun and she gasped! and say kau nak mampos??!!! meriam buloh kaper?? kau ingat kat kampong eh??? I just stared at her and keep blink.blink.blink in confusion.

And being the horrendous malay that I am...it was actually called bunga api when I swear I actually thought that bunga api only refers to fireworks but of cos knowing my bestie also have the same horrendous of a malay language that I am...we keep this conversation to ourself rather than kena lempar batu butter segala by the other malay people.....

But I do have that kind of jabbering thoughts should there be any clumsy asses in the guest list skali the sparks fired on my dress or skin or face or places that could hurt me. Dah nanti wedding night kat Tan Tock Seng pulak la kan...Dang!!! So, its still a should I or should I not???? But it's cute kan?? Or should I put into the guest list like a checkbox and questions like...can you handle sparkly fire wands??

Oooookay....other than that, lets continue back to our topic of dinner entrance songs..I was thinking of this:

Marry You by Glee

I have always like the version of Glee and I was thinking of the perfect duo who could actually sang this version beautifully. Yep! Its settled then. Marry you it shall be.

Next the Bride's entrance on Sunday...

Asmaradana by Tiara Jacquelina

I'm a little bit theatrical in a way. I loved adored awesomely in Love with big entrances and Im just being honest about it. Since it's MY big day why not make it bigger rather than be a Shmuck and try to deny about it. And obviously, this song totally fits the theme of my decor and such so its PERFECT.

Other than that, I am still thinking of the songs I might want to dedicate to Beau. There are currently few songs on the list and my tink a tink says it might be good to keep it on the low now. Hahahhaha...

Till then,
Loved.
