Your body is a WAAAAATTT???

Ola again Ladies!!!

So for today's topic is "Which Shape are u exactly?" And honestly, I find that this is truly an important subject that WE.WOMAN should be aware about before choosing that perfect white dress for the Perfect Wedding Day, Yes?

Most of the time, we are being delusional (Guilty.) and thought that our body shape is this:

But most of the time, it is actually THIS:

OR

Yep, it's one of the most Bitch slap news but Hey! that does not mean that you girls ain't pretty! And let's face it, especially in our community, most of the time we malay girls are blessed with all the right assets in the mothaf****ing right place but somehow or rather thanks to the lauk lemak cili padi or that asam pedas that our moms cooks everyday plus the occasional trips to Geylang Serai every sunday morning and just chomping down on that super powerdose of Nasi Padang!

C'mon Ladies, we have big butts and we shall not Lie aye? Hahahahha...

So, let's talk about me and my shape first. I am currently confused whether I am a pear or an apple. So, here are some of the definitions that determine which fruit you are. Let's check it out!!

Apple:

Apple shaped women have broad(er) shoulders compared to their (narrower) hips.Apple shaped women tend to have slim legs/thighs, while the abdomen and chest look larger compared to the rest of the body. Fat is mainly distributed in the abdomen, chest, and face.

Pear:
Pear, spoon, bell, or A shape (triangle upward): The hip measurement is greater than the bust measurement.[The distribution of fat varies, with fat tending to deposit first in the buttocks, hips, and thighs. As body fat percentage increases, an increasing proportion of body fat is distributed around the waist and upper abdomen. The women of this body type tend to have a (relatively) larger rear, thicker thighs, and a small(er) bosom.

The above information, I exclusive got from wikipedia but let me put all the information in my own so-called "minah melayu" punya variation of words aye?

Buah Epal:

Kirakan, pinggang lu shape macam Ms. Barbie doll la eh plus with the small slim thighs and legs. Pinggang macam semut kerengga and you have bloody good size of a bosom BUT one problem is the tummy area and your face will ader babat extra siket.

Buah Pir (I seriously thought pear was Buah Lai in malay but google says uh-uhh!):

Tau tak itu Sudu?? Cuba pandang sudu tu lama lama. Ahhh...shape kau macam gitulah. Kirakan macam persegi tiga terbalik (my own sincere direct translation of a triangle upward). Lu punya bumper baik dok!! Kirakan, apa kau makan mister and misses babats sekeluarga semua travel ke bontot lu! Ok per....cuma problem, itu "atas" tak la sebesar mana but if you've got a great ass...who cares??!! That's where all the actions are. Swaying hips y'all!!

Finally, I've arrive to a conclusion. Tengok punya tengok kat cermin. And it totally fits the description of a.....

Kwang Kwang Kwang!!!!

AKU PEAR!!!! AKU BUAH PIR LA DEY!!!!

So now let's take a look at some of the celeb ladies who are actually pear shape people!!

HAHHK!!! Kau nampak tu?? Jangan main-main ehh..akak ngan Beyonce da boleh jadi kembar siam kalau nak diikutkan body shape kita yang seiring dan sejalan yer puan puan...

Next up:

Zapppppp!!!!! Da jadi pulak kembar siam J Lo and Rihanna!! Ni kirakan Aku lah "Jenab from the block shining bright like a diamond yo!!!" Mwahahahhahahhaha!!

But no fret ladies, I havent forgotten you people yang ada pinggang dada Barbie doll segala ehhh..... *flips hair

Here are some of the celebrities whose got an Apple Body shaped:

Hahhh!!! Inilah wanita wanita yang "fofular" macam pembaca berita suria selalu sebot. I dont understand why the heck they must change the P to F. Another example is Pakistan which they always pronounce "Fakistan"!! Cikgu melayu korang saper hahhkk?? Suka hati nenek datuk korang tukar tukar pronounciation segala ehhh..... Sighhhh...Sorry terbabas siket!!! Let's U-turn!

Anyhoo, let's take a look at the various wedding dresses for Pear Shaped me and you ladies out there shall we?

Numero Uno:

Okay trust me on this, this cut works like magic especially if you have that bulge on the tummy and prefers the fluffu fairytale princess type of gown. The V-Shape cut infront does create a silhouette of a slimmer waistline and flatter tummy. You can see my pre-wedding gown story here!!

Other than that, make sure that the back of the dress looks flattering and not tight or else or eyes will be zoomed in that asset of yours!! Something like this is definitely recommended:

And to create that more slimming effect overall, have a halter neck dress like mine did and automatically your arms will look tons and tons smaller...im not kidding you!!! Even I was about to squeeze some balls in disbelieve when Beau showed me a picture of my arms WITHOUT photoshopped before we go out of the Bridal Concept shop for our outdoor shoot!!! There is something about halter necks that creates MAGIC!

But, yep I know what you gonna say "eh, my mother tak kasi ah confirm nanti kena pekik satu block!!!" Takper yer kengkawan, the most important thing is find a veil that is suitable and layered den Poof!!! worries of the belakang pusing is done! Solve!!! But for some who are still not comfortable with the halter necks as someof you could be wearing a Muslimah outlook..no worries akak understand la yerrr...

Here are some of the cuts that we could wear innerwear (Lace, chiffon blouse or Lycra material on the inside):

See how this plunging neckline creates a slimmer outlook for your hands and automatically look more appealing to the bust?? Yep!! And plus for you ladies out there, you can just buy a skin coloured chiffon or lycra material to wear on the inside plus with some layered accessories on the nect, Im sure its gonna be voila!!! F

For the muslimah brides, try wearing a high turtleneck innerwear and do up your hair nicely in a turban like these plus with all the layered accessories too so that the plunging neckline wouldnt be so obvious yet it can create a nice outlook.

So far, I havent seen Muslimah brides wearing a gorgeous turban like this from Raffiey Nasir so why dont cha be the first??!!!! *smiles

Other than that, here's some more patterns that you pear buddies can consider:

Now for the "Pear shaped body" No-no's:

I would say though most of the times the clothes look perfect on the model in the picture, that does not mean it will look good on us! That's the truth dearies!! You never know what's the actual behind the scenes when these photo editor photoshop the bloody model's body to make it look so darn perfecto....dont be fooled.

Take it from me..the Photoshop guru okay...there are so many times when I edit people's pictures with their weird requests of "Make my chin arms tummy thighs cheeks smaller" or "Make my lips boobs ass plumpier". Been there babes...been there. Kalau korang nak aku slim down kan gajah dalam gambar pon no problem la nyah.....

So, my take is that for me I would really avoid empire waist cuts like these:

No doubt that it looks that it has all the criteria of hiding that huge asses of ours, but these kind of cuts really needs some major tiring work. First off, if you have that problem in that tummy area, you may think it could hide it for you BUT NO!! you could end up like you are 6 months pregnant babes and all the time you have to make sure you stand tall and no slouching or you could just end up looking like a "Mak Buyong". This kind of cutting is suitable for those who have that flat pancake tummy for for most of us who have that irrit babats playing merry go round down there, this is not what I recommend suitable for you.

Next up:

I know they say this is perfect for Pear shaped body like us but no no NO!!! They are wrong super super wrong and you know why I say that??? Because I tried these types a few too many times already and it certainly spells "Heloooooo Big Ass Mama!!!" Unless that looks turn you on, I suggest...lupakan jer la Jah yer....

I looked totally horrible in it, I must say and in other words wedding dresses are most of the time in white so white gives you the illusion of making you a tad look bigger than usual and I really recommend not to have this stuff hanging on that wedding hanger of yous Misses!!!

In conclusion, everyone has their own preference but what Im blabbing above are the full prooof do's and dont's of picking the perfect wedding dresses. Well, at least if you have a pear buddy like me, these are some of the guidelines that might help you Brides out there! Cheerios!

Till then, Loved.

Me You and the Haze.

Moshi moshi Ladies!! Finally, just got back home from an awesome lunch session with Ms. Nooki. Missed her so much and its almost a heartache without having anyone to vent out my jokes to!! And its finally raining! Syukran Ya Allah! So the haze will be shoo shoo-ed away...

Beau are almost too busy with his phone all the time or thinking about cars with every breath of his and even though I made a joke, he will just stare at me and gave a smirk that says, "Okay, is this my cue to laugh??" Hmpff!! Sometimes, I just say it out, LAUGH [la]!!! Which he said, I dont understand your Bimbo jokes[la] B...sigh. Now I know why I always need this Bestie of mine cos she is the only one with a similar wavelength compared to the rest of the uptight "stick in the arse" people around me.

Okay okay, Ni da terbabas jauh topic! Let's make a quick U-TURN! So, last Thursday and Friday, me and Beau had our both indoor and outdoor photoshoot done. Our Indoor one was by Zul Radi...you can read about its Awesome-ness -------> HERE.

Anyhoo, our outdoor session was interrupted majorly and poor photographer of mine who seriously thought about perfection really makes us consider to postpone the dates to another day so that we could get a better shot since we want it to be near the beach area. And with a PSI nearly to 400, it was some major re-consideration. BECAUSE, if we were to postpone the dates, there were many other things that we need to re-schedule.

1. Beau forever n ever BUSY work schedule (C'mon [la], I only see him once a week and can only talk to him on the phone less than 5 mins most of the time everyday hokay!)

2. I need to go back to school for work!!! sigh..( Please remove the assumption that cikgu2 suma suka hati one whole happy family boleh holiday eh..most of the time students yang holiday, kita tetap kena jadi kuli batak prepare work for the next half of the year or in my case lagi best...Project untuk next year..baik kaper!!)

3. Need to re-arrange schedule for the Bridal Concept gown we booked and also our MUA Sarah from Faces by Sarah.

Semua ni perlu kerja leceh tahu tak?? Nak kena call satu satu...alangkah baiknya kalau ada P.A eh?? Saper nak jadi P.A aku? And yes, me and beau are the type of people who regularly have a diary or calendar everywhere we go and its almost tough to switch our schedules around because we are that super busy. Kalah-kan President la kata kan...hahahhahah tapi gaji tak naik naik...jahanam betol!! Hahahhaha

So, all in all, we just ask Syarfique to proceed with the photoshoot la because seriously there is no choice, although our wedding is in January, we need to clear every single thing and get it ready because only in June I would be available.

Nak buat pre-wedding near to the end of the year?? Sorry eh! Akak very busy. Kalau nak tahu
yer kengkawan, Term III la saat dan masa paling sebok untuk cikgu cikgi macam kita kita ni hah!! Ni term la yg boleh buat kitorang jadi sasau kacau bilau because we are so busy with end of year exams plus O level and N level. I am not willing to have my pre-wedding taken at the time where my zits says "Hello! Im here!!!!"

In conclusion, me beau and Syarfique were discussin through a group chat in watsapp till nearly 12 midnight....naseb baik aku tak tukar jadi pumpkin pasal da ngantuk and initially the plan was to meet at 7.30am...7.30AM!!!! at East Coast. Dengar terus lemau sehh....da la badan macam nak reput...but in the end when I woke up, I smell a strong smell of haze or smoke and immediately I was breathless..tu start ah mini semput aku da datang so I called Beau and ask him to call Syarfique immediately and say lets just delay awhile cos I could not breathe at all!!

After which, we decided to meet at 10am at Saddle Club sebab tiba-tiba Photographer febret kitorang nie ter-feeling pulak nak amek gambar kitorang kat sana! Ok[la], me and Beau trust his decision pasal pikir punya pikir kalau amek kat seaside nanti da la nampak asap jerrr plus orang nanti ingat aku amek kat tempat volcano plak!!

So, it was the first time for Beau to go to Saddle Club. As for me, I had been there a few times as I had my horseriding lessons there when I was a kid. So teringat la zaman kecik kecik dulu naik Pony. Only at that time, I felt so cheated that I had a brown pony instead of the ones that is featured on tv in the "My little pony" series which most of the time are pink or purple with glitter manes and with neon coloured eyeshadow! So, since I didnt get a pink pony which was definitely IMPOSSIBLE, my dad put me in Piano classes instead.

We reached, Saddle Club at bout 1030am. Bought the guys some breakfast. Syarfique came with his another awesome possum assistant named Azhar. So,the place was super nice. It doesnt look too foggy. In fact, I was more than happy that we changed our location to Saddle Club cause amazingly, it doesnt look like a typical singapore area at all. In fact, it reminds me of  Genting or Cameron Highlands. Soooooooooooooo romantic laaa.

And to top it off, with Syarfique being one hell of a kekek corner punya geng, me and Beau really had fun taking pictures there walaupon dikejar what we thought is a Babi hutan!! which at last was only a poor little biawak crawling around finding crunchy leaves to eat.

Speaking of Biawak, I remembered Syarfique asking us:

Syarfique: Eh, biawak tu vegetarian eh??

Me: Huh?? Vegetarian?? Herbivores la brother!!!

Syarfique: *stunned face. hahahahah!! asal aku cakap vegetarian eh??

That is one of the laughing moments that I couldnt forget and not to mention as were finishing up the last shot...tengah buat posing romantic, Beau suddenly whispered..."Eh B!! I saw you got Uban on ur head!!" Terus zaaaaaaaaaappp!! I was jumping around like a monkey and the worst part member pergi pluck that white hair and all the time si Syarfique caught us in the act..tak tahu la eh tu gambar nanti jadi macam maner...thanks to Beau kalau muka aku expression macam Beruk Mak yehh!!

In the end, we finished our shoot at Saddle Club nearly 1pm and from there we rushed to our MUA's place at Clifton Dale for my makeup. And next, we proceed to meet Nazri (Another Awesome Possum Bliss photographer) at our super secret location!! Actually tempat tak secret langsung...tapi tak kick la kan bilang everything one  shot!! Hahahha...

So, from there we just grab Macdonald's pasal da kebuluran rabak before we change to our next outfit. We had 2 outfits left to go and we just pose a little bit and lastly, ni part memang leceh to the max. We need to change to our formal suit and gown which we need to travel to Tong Seng area and back to our location!! You can read about my beee-youuuu-tee-full gown (or so I think of) HERE.

So, in short after changing, we needed to walk back to our shoot area and imagine walking in that Wedding dress. Although a short distance, i would NEVER EVER cross a traffic light again in a wedding dress. EVER!!!!!!!

But, ultimately, the people who saw us were very sweet especially the caucasians who congratulated us along the way and keep complimenting that I look gorgeous and beautiful. Kembang semangkuk jap akak!! And not to mention, a small little cute caucasian girl, keep on waving to me and came to me and said, "Look Mommy!! A real Princess!!"

Awwwwww....ini satu budak sweet kaper!!! Aku rasa can can kat dalam gown aku tu pon boleh cair laaa....so, at last it didnt matter that we didnt get to shoot at our chosen location or have to starve ourselves for the whole day and being tired and cranky at some point of a time during the shooot even, it was a helluva SWEET MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE!! And Im sure that once the pictures are out, I believe it's gonna be MAGIC!

So to you Ladies out there who have yet to take their pre-wedding shots, let me tell ya its gonna be one hell of a ride plus its super tiring and not to mention there are times when you can just snap! But hey, ENJOY it with your partner! Cos, that is what matters and once the pictures are out..you can feel the satisfaction!!

Till then. Loved.

The GREAT Outdoors.

Hello Preetay Ladies!!

So, Im uber-ly excited that our outdoor pre-wedding photoshoot is coming soon!!! Yippee yayy!! Walaupon berjerebu segala, tidak mengapa, spirits Ku tak dampen langsung. Kalau korang paham, bagus laa, kalau tak baca la ayat tu berulang kali yerr.

We met with Syarfique from Blissphotocinema on the 16th June(Sunday), naseb baik la member takde kerja kahwin and to think that both of us just touch down on that day before the meetup.

So, we discussed on the possible looks that we wanted for our photoshoot. Beau agrees with my idea that we want to incorporate fashion elements in it. Truth to be said, kalau pasal benda lawa melawa gini, memang kepala otak dia bergeliga and mesti he agree and that is why I love him so much! Mwahh!! Nothing in this world can keep up my fashion forward taste other than him who I must say jaga penampilan diri lebih dari average kaum Hawa yerrr..hawa hawa semua di luar sana!!

And finally, we met up with our favourite photographer to date at Starbucks at Paragon. Discuss for about an hour on the looks and places that we wanted.

Here are the places that we actually thought of and have recce-ed plus one other "super secret" location:

Credits to the photographers for the above pictures. I do not know who you guys are but you do take awesome pictures. I only found this through Google.com.

And anyhoooo, this are the places that me and besties loved to hang out ever since our historical Cafe del mar da padam!!!

So hopefully, there is not much changes as these Wak Jawa's all main bakar bakar hutan menyusahkan hidop aku nak amek gambar segala semua.

Till then, more updates coming soon!

Toodles!

Chin down. Nose to Nose. Stay. SNAP!

Ola beautiful Ladies!!! Guess you all are under the pressure from all this Haze disturbance but no worries. Let's just pray that all this will be over soon and we look forward to finally breathing the fresh air we once forgot to be thankful for! *sigh

Untuk orang-orang yg bakar hutan pokok monyet segala...kalau aku dapat tahu saper korang..aku bako korang jer!!! Da la aku ader case semput...suka hati nenek datuk korang main bakar-bakar plak la yer...and not to mention the irrits who have to act like live forecast weatherbee on FB, status-ing every bloody minute on the current PSI, eh helllo! kita boleh tengok tv sendiri la ehh...hmmpf!!

Anyways despite the horrible horrible PSI of 300, Beau took the day off on Thursday and Friday to have our both indoor and outdoor photoshoot session with two different wedding vendor of ours.

For studio, it would be the Awesome Master Zul Radi himself who will be dolling me up. This indoor photoshoot is part of our 6 outfits wedding package. So, instead of having the photoshoot as post wedding, we decided to have it as our pre-wedding instead so that we could feature the awesome photos beside our wedding dias on our BIG DAY! weee!! Cos, truthfully akak sebok eh lepas wedding nak concentrate on honeymoon segala and da la aku penat penat naik turon posing atas pelamin, so might as well get it over and done with.

For outdoor photoshoot, we have engaged Syarfique from the ever famous Blissphotocinema to capture our moments in Love. More detailson the outdoor shoot coming up soon.

As for now yer kengkawan, lets hocus pocus on the indoor photoshoot at the Awesome Master Zul Radi studio at Vertex Ubi. I was thinking maybe we need to travel to another place for the shoot after the makeup is done but ohh tidak tidak!! Rupanya, studio dia besar gila la dey!! Banyak hidden rooms! Woohooo!!!

So after doing the makeup yang setebal 3 inci macam kasut wedges mak aku, I was like thinking SHITE!! Ni muka da macam tepong gomak..kalau kat gambar nanti mcm mana...putih macam geng Edward Cullen takper...jgn muka putih macam Hantu Mak Limah balik Australia! Hahahhahahha...

However, walaupon cara  member make up fast and furious segala...pap puup papp!! da jadik..the end result is flawless...I had 2 major bitchy pimples yang tetiba mood dorang nak klua nak ikot aku masok dalam gambar jugak...haizzz

TE-TA-PI kakak kakak di luar sana, Abg Zul is superb in covering your flaws laa...aku panggil dia human live photoshop bergerak...kau kasi jer dia makeup...upload gambar kat computer..tu photoshop software korang boleh humban luar tingkap la ehhh..

So, once all ready and steady da siap pakai baju, and oh ya all in all we had four outfits:

  • Turquoise Blue (Traditional)
  • Royal Brown (Traditional)
  • Black (Western)
  • Orange + Gold ( Bollywood Acha!)
We make our way to the his studio at the rear end of his shop and met up with Jeremy aka Brother "Senyung"! Ni member kekek punya geng, dia tak cakap senyum...dia tau sebut "Senyung senyung!!" Boleh la bro..asalkan aku paham kau bahagia..pictures POWER...Alhamdullilah!

So it was very interesting to finally be in a photoshoot with Beau, it was definitely awkward for the both of us as we are honestly not the touchy-feely couple especially infront of people... Paling lebih pon pegang tangan si mamat tu jer laaa...ni nak kena ada hugging segala...lepas Jeremy cakap ok rest..both of us let go of each other macam kena electric current...hahahhaha...belom biasa...kan nanti da biasa siap kau aku ganyang!!! hahahhaha...

And there was one time whereby,Jeremy ask Beau.."Bro, look at your wife look at your wife!" den member agaknyer tak concentrate punya pasal keep staring at Jeremy. Ni part kekek corner, cos everybody was laughing. I think for a split second the Beau is lost trying to understand the word "Wife". Maklumlah.....*blush

So, this funny man usual dialog would be, "okay, nose to nose, chin down, senyung, senyung"!!

And here are the snippets of our AWESOME ending product:

No fret ladies there would be more coming up soon! But first, as me and Beau will be featuring most of these pictures for our wedding website,my blog has to wait then we will upload the rest of the battalion of pictures ehh?!!

Therefore, me and Beau end the day with a good note by having our own chilling drinking time at our favourite spot at Fort Rd. It was definitely a "Senyung" experience to be remembered.

Till then, "senyung senyung" selalu ya tuan tuan puan puan!!

Pretty with Pom Poms.

Olaa Btb[s]! Hope everything is still popsie daisy under this hazy conditions yes?! For those brides who their weddings last weekend under all the bad hazy conditions, no fret! Im sure your pictures will still turn out to be gorgeous and salutes to those future Bride and Grooms who have to brave the bad weather condition while taking their pre-wedding photos.

Believe me guys, me and beau were one of those so-called unfortunate ones. Hahhahha,,,with beau's tight work schedule, we both just have to make do with the current weather and ultimately get it over and done with.

So as we get nearer to our "Project Run Away from Haze", me and a little fairy (beau's AWESOME sister) had decided to prepare props for our upcoming outdoor photoshoot. As per discussed with our photographer Syarfique from Blissphotocinema(another AWESOME POSSUM fella), we do not really want to focus bringing too much props and I TOTALLY agree with that. Kalau nak props banyak letak sana sini, lebih baik kau letak tu wayang pekji nyer props jadi backdrop kan kan? So as for me and Beau, we prefer simplicity but yet classy as well as memorable and shots that features more of us and less of the fancy shmancy props.

So here are the basic ones that me and little fairy thinking of DIY-ing:

Save the Date Banner

Ini perlu yer kengkawan, sebab benda macam gini la is the most simplest and cutest way of announcing your wedding date via FB Twitter Instagram..tak payah nak perlu pakai photoshop segala...buat nie den Zaaap!! amik gambar den upload! Aku suka!

"POM POM" Flowers
Ini DIY bunga, I loveeeeee sangat sangat sebab benda ni, punyalah easy peasy lemon squeezy nak buat. Kalau tak tahu nak buat, beli jer at DAISO, just $2 for 14 flowers in a packet siap ngan instructions lagi you...so lepas tu kau main la ngan bunga tu puas puas yerrr...

Walaupun, cinta pada pom pom flowers ni mcm mandi tak basah tido tak lena, tapi please eh korang jangan nak substitute pom pom tu jadi sanggul lintang segala kat kepala macam orang kat atas tu. Walaupun no doubt cute, tapi kalau kasi kahwin da boleh jad mak orang eh. Please eh.

Hahahhaha...tapi kalau nak jugak jadi sanggul lintang akak tak kisah...whatever rocks your sampan babes!

So in the end, me and the little fairy decided to create Save the Date Event Banner No.1 on the picture shown above and Turquoise Pom Pom Flowers with the help from the products at DAISO! Though you can buy the banner at Haji Lane or so that I know of, buat sendiri lagi jimat cost yer puan puan...and at the same time you kick urself silly while preparing your project props.

So, last Tuesday, me and the little fairy head down to ION DAISO, to purchase all the stuff. All in all it was a total of $8. $8 AJER YER KENGKAWAN!

To create the banner we bought:

A5 Size Envelops (10 Envelopes in a pack)
Sketchbook / Drawing block or any Thick white pieces of papers
Markers
Crepe Papers

And here is the end product:

TA-DA!! And sorry ladies, no pictures of the pom pom flowers, the SIII is currently being a bitch and I dont know where the hell the picture is....

Lawa kan???? Ok[la], walaupon tak se-perfect mana tapi pasal da penat potong tampal draw lukis conteng colour segala, I still find its super deee duperr nice and not to mention the wacky moments me and little fairy had. Guess where we did this whole crime???

ESPLANADE LIBRARY HOKAY!!

Memang tengah in zone selenge at that point of time, patut buat la kat Macdonald's or somethin BUT since aku have forever been obsessed by esplanade's library beautiful scenic outlook, i decided to shoot the burger. At last, nak koyakkan kan plastic wrapper pon susah pasal the place is super damn quiet! Hahahha..not to mention pakcik library ingat kitorang buat project skola and say jgn serak-serakkan..eh pakcik! Kitorang taulahh...ingat aper mcm rumah sendiri kaper nak suka serak serakkan segala..

And not to mention the look on little fairy's face and say...you can still pass off as 16 you know kakak...thats why the pakcik thought we do school work...

Awwww.....ini satu budak malaun memang aku sayang la sangat-sangat!!!! Nak peluk cium ni satu little fairy!!!

Till then, up next a story on our Shooting Adventure.

White as Snow..Gown Story Part Deux

Olaaa BTB(s)!! Hope the past weeks has been Great if not Im sure your survival instincts kept you alive among all these many details that we need split our brains for. Anyways, this post is all about the continuation story mory of the WHITE Gown hunt that I have last mentioned in my previous blog. Well, it is definitely tough I must say to find the gown that fits and also a store assistant yg prangai tak "Jahanam" like the one I encountered at Orchard Central.

So as the hunt continues, I was walking on my own in Bugis St cos the man is busy as usual with werk, Ms.Nooki is on her way for her Bandung trip and also Ms. Smooth Criminal was on her way to Gold Coast. Tertinggal la aku sorang terkedek-kedek jalan sendiri cari benda untuk our pre-wedding photoshoot. sigh...kesian kesian...Tetapi tidak mengapa ya tuan tuan puan puan KE-RA-NA (tone macam budak tengah bahas 4PM) I, telah pon BERJAYA..YA BERJAYA! mencari gown yg perfect sangat sangat!!!

Haiz...ni kalau bahasa melayu lecturer aku nampak..confirm potong point la!!

Okay back to the cerita of my gown, sedang I jalan terkedek-kedek nak cari anting-anting...tiba tiba kepala otak ni terpikir pulak nak search Bridal Shops around Bugis area cos if you guys are frequent Tong Seng members...korang mesti pass by Bugis Junction which holds frequent bridal exhibitions every few months. So, selepas mendapat idea, jari jemari ku pon menaip [lorrr], "Bridal Shops in Bugis" on google chrome kat hp SIII aku yg togel takder cover nie.. and Ta-daaaa!!! it shows this:

http://www.bridalshop.sg/place_tags/bugis/

Hahhh!!! Ada pon!! So for a minute aku pon pikir nak jadi adventurous and just shoot the burger and go to the bridal shop myself although its quite intimidating after how the "Jahanam(s)" at Tanjong Pagar Bridal Shops treat me before. So, I decided to pick "BRIDAL CONCEPT" and using the reliable GPS on my SIII walaupon aku tak tau baca map segala tetapi aku tetap cuba ya kengkawan!

So as I walk and walk ikot map tu...I was directed to the lane betol2 depan Tong Seng...sigh phone ni aku pikir..aku nak cari baju kahwing bukan nak makan nasi ayam!! Then the arrow started to blink and I saw the signboard Liang Seah St...I knew that I was near to clinching that perfect white gown.

So kalau  nak ikot direction cara aku memang senang. Kalau korang tau the Famous Tong Seng, you just walk all the way straight and you guys can see a restaurant named Pornsak ngan gambar bontot gajah den you just continue to walk straight and you should be reaching this AWESOME POSSUM BRIDAL SHOP:

So there I am finally outside the shop, dengan penuh debaran dan bacaan "Bismillah" aku pon masuk kedai...macam nak masuk war zone pulak ehhh...So I was greeted by this friendly Uncle yang tengah relax baca newspaper maybe Towkay dia ah..kalau kuli takkan boleh rilek one corner baca Lianhe Wanbao, teo bo?

So, he welcome me into the shop and introduce me to his superb store personnel Cecilia, ini perempuan kalau boleh aku pelok da memang aku squeeze dia habis-habisan ah! She is really one adorable and nice lady to work with. Service is tip to the top! She is so friendly and casual. Mana nak dapat service macam gini kat Tanjong Paga? Hah....HAHK??

So, finally she ask me what type of gown do I want and my budget so being the direct me, I say straight to the point takder corner corner, and tell her, "the cheaper the better"! Something fluffy and must be WHITE. Dont want the Man to do pouty faces at me...

I was brought up to the second storey of the shop, all in all the shophoouse is super big...Tiga tingkat kau! naik tingkat dua da macam rasa nak pengsan. So, this temporary fairy godmother of mine starts to pick out many many white dresses all fluffy with laces and trains and bling blings....ter-feeling la pulak macam Julia Robert in Pretty woman. Hee!!!

So, I finally tried like 8 gowns in total but I must say this Cecilia her taste is immaculate. I actually fell in love with the very first gown she tried on me. It was a halter, high neck so-called mandarin cut type of wedding gown and it makes me look so  darn kurus la nyah!!! Aku suka!

Lets take a peek:

You see! You SEE!! Gorgeousness kan?? From what I have learnt, a perfect cut is TRULY REALLY IMPORTANT Ladies! If you are especially a big fan of a fluffy gown like this TE-TA-PI ada high waist  like I am, I really suggest you take this kind of cutting that cuts like a V at the waist area because it creates the illusion that you are slimmer..take it from me..this dress does MAGIC! to my tummy. Not only that, the high neck mandarin cut creates a slim neckline.

So for us ladies, who are not chopstick bamboo stick thinned pole type of people, this is one of the perfect cuts that you ladies can try out. Also, many of you will be asking how much this wedding dress cost. Let me tell you first, the price that I will be telling you is INCLUSIVE of Veil, Accessories (Hair, Necklace & Earrings) ya Puan puan.

The magic price is ONLY $350 la dey!! Compared to the many ber-belasan shops yg price range starts from $600 and above. THIS is definitely a good steal and one that fits my body perfectly.

Im so happy[lah]. Even the Man was happy with my choice though he prefers somethin with Bling Bling but when he looks at me in this, it creates a soft bridal elegance which fits perfectly with our chosen outdoor location.

So, for you and you and you who are still finding that perfect white dress why not head down to Bridal Concept @ 16 Liang Seah St Today! All the staff there are super duper friendly and not only that, many of our malay btb[s] also do their studio photoshoot there. And I also came to know that me bestie's sister and also the cousin also did their wedding studio shoot with Bridal Concept which is like eons ago. And even the Man was impressed by their friendly services and I must say that he is one with the most particular need for good service.

Till then. Loved.
