Surprise Me Bob.

Haaaaarrrrrrlow Again.
So, last friday me and Beau and Bonda[MIL] plus my Lil' SIL aka Bride escort came to pay Bob, the Towkay of Bonito by Bob Mubarak, a visit cos our Mock-ups are READY!!!! Yayyyy!!!

Altogether there are 6 exclusive designs that we could choose from. 3 each for both of us and it was majorly a headache especially for me to pick the ones that I like. I would love to upload the pictures now but sadly all pictures are with Beau cos he was so damn majorly excited and decided to play the "official photographer" for our mock up sets. *what makes you happy dude.

So, other than that, I could only show you one sample that Bob did for Beau. However, Beau has decided to choose a classy wintry blue for himself and it was major shock-ness!! I thought he would go for his absolute choice which has cars in it but nope!! He chose another design which I really loved as well and secretly hoping that would be his choice too. Great minds think alike though. heh!! So, here is one sample of the mock-up set that he did for Beau based on F1 Inspired Theme:

Sungguh SANTEK sekali!! Akak Loike!!! Apart from all that, Bob has also told me some sad news that he might not be taking any more orders for 2015 cos he is fully booked in 2014 and might stop doing Gubahan[s] instead and just concentrate on his Nikah Dias and Bedroom Decor.

My initial respose was jaw-dropping. Second, I seriously shouted, "Hennng ahh Bro! Lucky I chope you first liaoz!" Hahahaha and he laugh along seeing how an Ah Lian I can be. See people? I told you we have to be super damn kiasu in matters of malay weddings!

And also one piece of Good news, other than just booking for Bob's Gubahan[s] plus the Nikah Corner, Bonda has decided to also booked the Mama Shop for Beau's reception as well!! Cool Kan? Naseb baek si Bob ni not for sale...agaknya kalau dia for sale...ngan kau skali aku angkut letak atas dulang Bob....hahahhahah

So, the mama shop looks awesome possum like this:

Look!! How cool is that yo?!! And while we are at it, we are definitely gonna dress up an unsuspecting fella like the one below to "jaga" the stalls for us!! Just so, that kids will be so scared shitty that they only dared to take one item and never come back. hahahahahha!! Mean.

Other than that, as mentioned here, we will also be getting the Nikah Corner from Bob as well. Like what Bob said, we are his #1 supporter and it's true! To date, we are your #1 Biggest Fans too Bob! hahahahhahha...angkat skills level high aye?!

So, Bob mentioned that we will place surprise fixtures for the Nikah corner which I will not be told or if not its no longer a surprise but I know if it comes from Bob, it means Va-va Voom!! And my question for him is that, if I walked down the aisle den skali trying to look all demure and poise in white..and den saw his gorgeous nak mampz! punya nikah corner make me pengsan how? or even worse...I could be giving a wolfie whistle and shouted...siol ah! baik kaper?!! Not because, I dont trust Bob for not able to live up to my expectations. I am just freaked out by the fact that his work is so GOOD that my reaction will be an unforgettable memory among the makcik[s] who attend the solemnization.

I will be so freaking happy!! if I can pull of this face and expression hokay...I just hope I could..

rather not have this though....Please not. Please not.

That will make even the Nenek[s] pengsan one corner sey.

So, I hope that I could upload the rest of the mock up pieces soon and show you girls.

Till then,

Loved.

Joget Lambak. NOT.

Halow U'allz!!! Since, I am on a free rollin good times nowadays cos of the school hols might as well I make myself useful and add some Babblings on my blog. So, issue to day, "To Joget Lambak or not to Joget Lambak?" That's the question.

For those of you who do not know what is Joget Lambak, it means to dance with a group of other enthusiastic mak-chics in a circle cos Lambak means a-lot right??..like say, "Eh, detu anak berlambak kaper?!"  Urm, yup. Macam gitu ah agaknyer. So, in this case Joget Lambak means to joget ramai-ramai. Thanks Google Translator.

The issue came up because, I met up with my Entertainment Company and we are family friends after all so I know whenever they do parties, it is POWER Gedegak!! Like weddings and such, it is so lively and fun. So, when he mentioned that at the end of the day that the couple has to dance this Joget Lambak, me and Beau give the "errrrrrr.....tight lip..rolllin eyes in the skies look." And we saw videos of couples and their Bridesmaids plus Groomsmen who actually dance in the middle the void deck prancing to Jamal Mirdad songs. It gave me Goosebumps. Not to mention, Beau immediately wanted to sprint off and because I am giving murderous stares, he stop short.

Ok ok, it looks nice and fun to have this joget lambak and stuff la but meanwhile, I must say this is not for the both of us. We believed in Prevention is Better than Cure and in this case, we will be keeping the wedding videos for our next generation to see and I dont want my cucu cicit ngoneng2 will be laughing their ass off seeing their nenek in a gown trying to put on some moves. You geddit??!

I am just a person who is not particularly in favour of making myself looks like a fool. And the scary part is that, my Deejay says this is a "MUST". Hello, not everyone goes to "Silver Tortoise" and can gelek okay?! I cant. I wont.

And not to mention, Beau who claims that he has two left feet but I'm guessing that he can actually dance cuma member malu semacam jer nak show off his skills says that he would not be force to dance to the groove of a dangdut or a jamal mirdad or WORSE for me...M.Daud Kilau!!!! I just cant stand M.Daud Kilau, mainly because as a toddler I was forced to take pictures with him back in Indonesia when he has a concert there and my dad fooled me saying he is Michael Jackson's Brother. And ever since then, I have been so called "coloured" with many mean jokes hokay?! It almost ruin my tween years....grrrrr!! hahahhaha

And on one fateful night in the car as I fetch Momma from her office, she also mentioned that she is not into the idea of all this Joget Lambak and stuff and she says it looks like some "cheapo party in the 50's" and especially some old aunties in tudung[s] who "gelek[s]" like nobody's business. Oh well, we have seen it in some weddings and it scares the hell out of me. Firstly, there was one makcik who say she got backache and the next minute when the dj turned on the song "Mimpi Manis", she got up and gelek like mad la siolz. One wild cow man.

And I wouldnt want that for my wedding, not in front of my students somemore. And luckily Momma and Papa agreed to my request. *Hengggggg ahhh!!!

And also one more thing that I requested to them was NOT TO HAVE ANY DANGDUT GENRE. EVER. for my wedding cos I have seen some makcik[s].in tudung[s]. AGAIN took out a CD from her bag and suddenly her song was aired and she was prancing and dancing like a maniac shouting from the top of her lungs. She must have had good lungs and I bet people 10 blocks down could hear her shriek.

Just like this "kocok-kocok" makcik that was featured and went viral in FB:

Makcik was possessed by some Hantu Dangdut I guessed. So, you see these kind of people scares the hell out of me and believe me prancing and dancing in front of public which might consist of your former and current students is never a good idea.

I would rather sing like a toad than doing an "Inul" inspired act.

Till then,

Loved.

Janji Melayu. Part Deux

Heeeeyelllllow u'olz!!!!! So, last weekend I went down to Marina Cards for collection after so many delayed attempts from them. FYI, I also  just received info from Fauziah, (Hi Fauziah!! Thanks for dropping by!! *waves hands) another fellow BTB that she is also in the same "naseb kentang" category as I as when dealing with the people at Marina Cards Design at Angsana Mall JB.

For those of you who read this for the first time, you can read my Janji Melayu [Part 1] story here.

Serious ah this Marina Cards. Given a choice, I would have written a script and give it to Yusof Haslam kasi jadi Movie pon bagus ah. Maybe can be even more dramatic dari Sembilu. And for me, the title for this whole epic wars can be titled as "SEMBELIT" cos hell yes, I have a constant constipated look when my makcik.pakcik.nenek.datuk.ngoneng-ngoneng. asked me about the status of my cards. And hell yes, I have been tortured by the Mak-chic[s] Network Gang with constant naggings and interrogations about ETA of my cards because they need to give it to other Mak-chic[s] Quarters lain which I have no idea of their existence AT ALL.

Anyhoo, speaking of Marina Cards which is located at Angsana Mall Level 5 in JB, our collection date was supposed to be after hari raya haji, but after sembelih-ing all the lembu, kambing and kerbau[s], there is still no news from them. Then, I started spamming their email in capital letters. Mean Much. But I dont give a damn. Then, I realised they started to speed up their process after the whole spamming saga. And after so many freaking drafts and over 50+ corresponding of emails, believe it or not? When I collected my cards, THERE ARE STILL ERRORS!!!

*come come I clap for you!!!" and at the same time i feel like SLAPPING THIS IDIOTS!!!

How can this idiots be created in the first place and think they are good enough to do a business? I dont have a clue.

Here are the errors for both my cards and Beau's.

#1: Promised insert made from "THICK GLOSSY GOLD MANILA PAPER" but received flimsy A4 paper.

Halaaaamak!! Ni macam eh, lebih baik aku print and then photocopy sendiri kat kedai Nyonya kat bawah. Lagi mulia, dapat free gula-gula lagi. hmmppff!! And initially, they promised nice thick glossy paper as the insert and when I told the staff, they say that the girl whose name is SYAZA and nak "step" macam mana nyer lawa dah resigned.

And I said to the staff, "So, company still nama sama kan?!!Still same Boss Kan? Dia nak resign ke, nak terbaring ke apa kena mengena dengan kad kita?!! Janji tetap janji, sebab kita da tunaikan janji kita dengan company awak dan telah pon bayar 50% DEPOSIT so awak kena tunaikan la janji awak balik!!"

Fuyoooo, at that point of time I feel like patting my back and say Good job woman!!. Because for the first time in my life I am able to marah in malay without using Google Translator. hahahahhahaha!!! oh well...Anger do creates Wonders.

Lucky, the cover was nice and have hot stamping segala so it does not make the cards look cheapo!!

#2: Gramma's name went wrong.

This is definitely an issue. Instead of Maliah. They put Mariah. Korang suka2 kaper tukar nama nenek orang lain?!! Macam NENEK kau punya nama eh?!! #bodohpunyakambing

#3: No Print On Card as promised. Instead print on inserts which is then paste onto the card.

This issue is for Beau's cards. Initially we paid extra, RM 190 for our details to be embossed and printed on the cards straight BUT the idiots at the production site, emailed to us FEW HOURS before the collection time and said that there is an error and their freaking ink doesnt stay on the cards so no embossing could be done and they need to delay the process. AGAIN.

* the issue for #3 was for previous weekend punya cerita but hell yes, im still putting it up for all to know.

So, Solution to all these problems above and not to mention the emotional distress that I have to personally go through. the long distance call charges. my duit minyak kereta to and fro. my wasted time?? And I would include the charges for my therapist as well for all the emotional breakdowns I suffer but then again, the therapist is my mother. *naseb kau ah marina!

WE DEMANDED COMPENSATION.
For all of the above problems that they give to us.

Being the genetically proven Mafia that I am, I sat down and list all of my dollars and scents that needs to be compensated. My personal Finance minister for that day was my dear Bonda [MIL], cos as usual I couldnt count for nuts. I only know how to act "garang". Grrrrr...*shows teeth

Initially, they only wanted to give RM30 discount!! Kau buat klakar kaper nyah?!!! Tu RM30, I shove it in your throat hokay?!! It was a fierce haggling of price session and up till that point, the staff at the counter, a lady was so pissed at us cos we do not want to budge our prices BUT naturally she was not nice and helpful to us from the first moments my eyeballs met hers. You know what she did??!!

She pulled back all our cards which are in the red plastic bags and throw it behind her chair!!! How rude was that?!! And I said to her, " Eh hello, agak-agak la siket, kalau yer pon tu kad saya, kalau saya nak lari ngan kad berat macam guni beras tu pon tak sampai sepuluh tapak awak da boleh tangkap jugak?!! All i can say, their bodoh is totally bodoh like biskot mary!!

And I think it took her more than a minute to understand what I said. Seriously, ni bodoh Level Biskot ah. After that, she kept calling her Boss which in return shouted back at her and pass the phone to their second Boss. And only after the last conversation of haggling prices, we do know that the Boss is not named Marina but Zetty and the Adek is known as Hakim. They DO NOT have a phone at their office or production site. All the phone numbers listed on the cards are actually their hp numbers as we are told from another so much nicer staff of theirs which I really make an effort to talk and reply nicely back to her.

Pity the fact that their staff have to use their own hp and on their own personal expenses to conversate with the boss. So, in the end even their OWN STAFF AT MARINA CARDS Design said that we SHOULD NOT/NEVER EVER recommend their company to other people because the company is not reliable and they cant take shit no more from the custormers.

HAHKKK!!!!! Take that!! Even your own staffs pity the customers like us!! Hmmppfff!!
Anyhoo, after a series of debate with the 2nd Boss, Hakim on the phone and he mention that "KALAU AWAK GI KEDAI CINA, PON TAK BOLEH DAPAT NI HARGA TAU!!" and I was like, "EH, LEBIH BAIK PERGI KEDAI CINA, TOLONG CINA MAJU DARIPADA PERGI KEDAI MELAYU AND GET SHITTY SERVICES. ABEH KATA 1 MALAYSIA EH, APASAL NAK KIRA BANGSA SEKARANG?!!

Tsk Tsk! I seriously do not know what is the link that race should be included as part of the debate. pfft!!!

Conclusion, we get more than RM 200 in discount for the whole Card Saga Battle.
Yayy-ness!!! I do not know if my "garang-ness" does the tactic or they just cant "Tahan" the noise and the fact that we have mouths like Mak-chic quarters.

Mak-chic Quarters: 1     Marina Cards: 0

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! WE WON!!!!! Or at least, we get away with the amount that we want and we were ruthless!! Grrrrrrr...*shows teeth

So, if anyone of you BTB[s] have ordered from this tragic company, please do check up on the status of your cards and hunt them down like mad. I agree it is a tiring process, emotional and frustrating as well  BUT you guys have paid the deposit so DO NOT LET THEM OFF that easily or if not they will continue to do all this kind of shitty services to other unsuspecting BTB[s].

LET THIS BE A LESSON LEARNT FOR THEM.

One word of advice to them, when dealing with a Singaporean Mak-chic, Dont Pray Pray ahh!!!

Hope this "Sembelit" saga will be the last of all the challenges from vendors that I need to face.

And Ladies, do drop by and feel free to comment if you have a similar experience with any other card vendors, or just say Hi!!

Till then,

Loved.

Waxing Woes.

Hola Y'allz! So, up next on my list other than SPA treatments would be to do full body waxing. However, the pain level is still yet unknown and I'm googling like mad over the internet on finding good reviews for the different companies that does hair removal.

I was so crazy and scared like mad that I have asked a hair removal company whether they could do threading on the fine hairs on my arms. It is actually nothing and I agree with Bestie that I am just being a typical vainpot and at first when she heard it Bestie was like, "Siak ah...abeh air liur dorang kalau meleleh kat tangan kau camne?" And I immediately had second thoughts after that...hmmm

Other than that, I had also another colleague of mine who went to do waxing in Tekka area...hahahahha...I dunno why but the whole story and situation tickles me much. So this colleague of mine went to waxing for her underarm and instead of doing whitening, her armpit got BURNED la [siolz]. Instead of become whiter, it became blacker and I couldnt help squealing like a hyena when she told me the story. And it was BAD because, the week after was her wedding and hers was a bustier gown la dey!!

Okay ah, it was bad of me and the rest to laugh at somebody's misfortune but hell laa, they way she say it, makes me kekek like mad. And this girl also, while she say her story laugh like a freaking hyena as well. So...urmmm not my fault aye?

So, you girls out there please learn your lesson from this story hokay? DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT anyhow go somewhere cheapo and thought that they could be as reliable and safe eh.

So, I have done a bit of research on the few companies that I have been considering to go. Maybe, you might like to drop your reviews here too if you have been to these few places. Although, it's not much of a choice because I am just confused by nature, so I dont want to confuse myself any further and just pick the ones that are popular and hopefully reliable with good reviews.

Here we goooooooooooooooo:

#1 Datsumo Labo
I have heard so much rave about Datsumo Labo from reading our local bloggers reviews. I am still not so sure of how good it is. And, if they comes in package based lagi worst. I always have the tendency to sign up for a package and ended up not going for it later. Other than that, the voucher will just expire and walk itself to the rubbish bin. All I can say is I am curious seeing so many good reviews about this product and I might be going for their trial session since I am a one-off deal kinda person. Interesting.

#2 STRIP

Here is one of the uber popular hair removal company that I know in Singapore. STRIP. It's service is one of my personal favourite. I have signed up for their IPL Package before and I must say that their staff are professional and being the very shy type...MIRACULOUSLY, I dont feel shy in front of their beauticians basically cos I think she gave me a very boring "selamba" kind of face that says..."alaaa...i've seen it all laa!!" So, yah..rather than getting an eager beaver who might give me anxiety attacks...I like their "Selamba" face mode.

Initially, wanted to do waxing with them but alas, I chicken-ed out. Thanks to one of my gals who say" waxing sakit giler siak!!!" right before I enter the therapy room. Thanks eh! So, currently I think I might try their waxing.. They do have these chocolate waxing and stuff..that says it would be less painful for first timers like me.

However, I dont really find IPL really works and also because I do not like the chilling ice pack feel when they "ZAAAAP!" you here and there.

So, anyways these are my two choices. I have narrowed it down to two because I do not want to confuse myself any further and besides, price wise are okay d dokay for me so I shall get more reviews from people about these two companies. But, aku macam ada feeling feeling it's gonna be STRIP ah cos I like the way they handle their customers and they dont do hard selling or was is because I have this constant annoyed face whenever I am in the shop so they dont approach me. heh!!
